Writing Prompt 8/300: Come up with a mathematical formula to express something you know/believe.
Math and I aren’t really good friends. We used to be, like in grade school. But then we drifted apart, at a time that we probably needed each other most.
It is probably because math likes things in right answers and black and white. I tend to prefer gray.
I suppose I can admire a relationship where inputs equal outputs and there is always a reliability to math that you can count on. ( Ha! punny!)
So my formula might be something like the Theory of Uncertainty:
Stories + Trends/ Time = cultural shifts x human factors
Stories are sets of qualitative data. Trends are quaifiable statistics. Time is incremental and definitive.
Cultural shifts multipled by human factors results in change in behavior and mindsets.
