FOUNDER, Exhibit Change | 2009 – present

Exhibit Change is a design-driven community engagement organization focusing on the intersection of city-building and education. As the Founder of Exhibit Change, I have worked on more than a dozen collaborative co-design projects, managed a dedicated volunteer team and built a business from the ground up.

 

INNOVATOR IN RESIDENCE, Situation Lab & Camaraderie | 2013 – 2014

Both Situation Lab & Camaraderie are organizations focused on collaboration and community. As the innovator in residence, I was responsible for offering strategic consulting on foresight and program development.

 

LEAD FACILITATOR, FUSE 13 & 14 Art of Social Innovation, ELN Studio, Everybody is a Teacher, Islands of Excellence, EdCamp Toronto & Design Thinking, PACT Design Charrette | 2009 – present

As a lead facilitator, I am responsible for designing facilitation plans, curating conversations and training facilitators. These trainings include unconference tools, civic engagement, design thinking and education reform.

 

CONSULTANT, Girls E-Mentoring | 2013 -2014

Girls E-Mentoring is a career-based mentorship program. As the lead design consultant, I facilitated a co-design process with girls and mentors on the initial design of the program.

 

CONSULTANT, Centre for Green Change | 2012-2013

Centre for Green Change is a hub for environmental place-making and community development. As a consultant, I was responsible for program evaluation, understanding user needs and program development.

 

CONSULTANT, Glen Shields Public School | 2013

Glen Shields Public School was looking to do teacher and student training on design thinking. As the consultant, I designed and facilitated custom curriculum on parent engagement and learning environments.

 

CONSULTANT, Women in Toronto Politics | 2012

Women in Toronto Politics is a catalyst for raising the conversation on women in Toronto politics. As a consultant, I was responsible for facilitating an stakeholder engagement event on strategic planning.

 

ARTIST, Through My Lens | 2011

Through My Lens is a multi-city art installation capturing citizens’ views of the places they live. As the Artist of the Toronto edition of TML, I was responsible for curating an installation in a rental truck in Parkdale as a part of a greater Scotiabank Nuit Blanche exhibit.

 

COORDINATOR, Parkdale Liberty Economic Development Corporation | 2008 – 2009

Parkdale Liberty Economic Development Corporation was a community-based organization dedicated to contributing to a thriving business area and community partnerships. As a coordinator responsible for design and community engagement, I was responsible for organizing the Queen West Art Crawl, developing partnerships with the local school and implementing community events.

 

EXHIBIT DESIGNER, Science North | 2006 – 2007

Science North is an interactive science museum in Sudbury, Ontario. As an exhibit designer, my role was to collaborate with the technical staff, graphic designers and scientist to execute 3D designs for prolonged visitor experiences.
